I need help desperately- I have tried everything to set up my wireless network
internal card is a bcmwl5a (using ndiswrapper) i have also tried several others (either usb or pcmcia) all seem to install ok but i cannot see the router, firewall is off on both router and laptop. (suse 10.2 x64 on an AMD turion). does anybody know of a good guide to wireless in suse (I have tried the guide on suse web site but no joy) or another gui I can use that will allow me to set the wep key to restricted.

    any help greatly appreciated.

    2 suggestions:
    1. read the sticky in our "wireless internet" forum: it's quite good
    2. leave encryption out until you get it working
