SuSe Linux Enterprise Server 180 day trial period question
SLES says "Check out this free 60-day (180-day for zSeries) evaluation of SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 10. This software is licensed for limited evaluation purposes and does not include access to software updates beyond the evaluation period or any technical support."
Does this mean the distro will continue to function after the trial period, just without updates/tech support? ... or does it shutdown completely?
Thanks.

SLES will continue to work outside of the eval period. You just won't get any updates or support.

I also did not get any software update from the software updater that is located in tray icons.
It responds me as "There are no software updates available." since from the installation.(1 month)

There is a URI in Services tab, the default one that comes with the box. The status is active and Type ZYPP, should I add new services there? or should I use Online Update in YaST? I'm using SLED 10, does this make change?
