    Starts only in Console

Hmmm, Hi, i was trying to set up my XGL, with mandriva it was fairly simple, but i have aproblem with SUSE 10.2, i followed the doc from the novell site To enable 3D desktop effects on your desktop, proceed as follows:

Start YaST from the main menu or by pressing Alt+F2 and entering yast.

    In *, select System>/etc/sysconfig Editor.

In the list on the left, unfold the Desktop>Display manager entries.

Select the DISPLAYMANAGER_XSERVER entry and set its value to Xgl.

Click Finish to apply the changes.

    Reboot your machine.

Desktop effects should now be available to you.

......... restarted and now after i restarted it only starts in console, now this is my 2nd time using SUSE, so im still very new to the console, so help is appreciated, plse and thank you

You can still use Yast from the CLI. As root, launch yast. This will launch the ncurses interface for Yast. From here, undo any previous changes you made in the /etc/sysconfig editor.
