If you want to connect from dial-up take a look at Computer->Control Panel->YaST2->Modem Configuration.
If you want to connect from DSL take a look at Computer->Control Panel->YaST2->Network Card Configuration.
Please define, what type of internet connection you want.

It is a dial-up connection. Suse did detect my Motorla modem and I have also managed to configure the connection via wizzard, so I gues this should be ok. But I don't know how to activate the connection? Have I maybe did somethig wrong when creating the connection with wizzard.PS: I would like to manualy activate the connection. Thanx again for help

Did you able to test the connection?(the ISP settings)
What do you see when you type; (as root)

Suse 10.1 Smartax MT882 modem
suse has not detected Smartax MT882 modem connected via USB since installation and boot up..
I have downloaded a file MT882linux from driverguide.com..
I am attaching that file with this post
how to install it? and connect to broadband dial up connection
please help
