Hi all,

I haven't worked much on SuSe. I wanted to install SuSe8.2. There was some frequency mismatch between the monitor and video card . So I was unable to continue the installation. I didn't know how to resolve this issue and so I installed SuSe8.2 in the text mode.
Now am trying to install Oracle9i on SuSe and am unable to run the runInstaller script. Everytime I do that I receive a message- DISPLAY not set ! Set the DISPLAY and then try again.

Can anyone help me as to how should I set the DISPLAY so that I can install Oracle9i.
