    usb 2.0

    I have a USB 2.0 5 point hub internal pci. It works fast with the muli card reader when I put in a sd card (256meg) in,but when I put a usb key (256 meg) usb 2.0 it reads and writes very slowly! I have done the ehid thing and it makes no difference. I took the card out and installed in my XP machine and it works good.XP pro SP2.No problems.When I put the usb 5 point hub pci back into my IBM Intel machine,it works very fast with the card reader but not on the usb key!!! Why?? Am I doing something wrong? The box I'm using is an IBM Netvista Celeron 1.8 mhz with 782 ddr1 ram and an Intel main board. I updated the bios,too.250 gig Seagate hd.
