Can swap and Ext3 stay in 1 partition 10GB ???

Hello everybody, I am a newbie for Linux. I am trying to install SuseLinux 10.0 for my system. I spared 10GB for WinXP, 10GB for Win_Vista and 10GB for Suse Linux. The partition to install Linux is now unformatted, can I format it as Ext3 and install SuseLinux on that partition ??? Will SuseLinux automatically create swap partition in the 10 GB that I have created or I should spare more space for swap ????

Should I install all the OS as follow:

    1. WinXP
    2. Win_Vista
    3. Suse Linux

Then will SuseLinux recognize the other two operating systems and set-up a boot-loader with three options ????

Look forward to your soonest reply.

    Best regards,

    Jackiewin

SuSe installer will create and format / (root), /home and SWAP partitions for you and it will also recognize Windows Xp and Vista.
i possible that Vista boot loader will create a few problems. chances are very low. even if something goes wrong, its very easy to tweak GRUB.

It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
