    Weird issues using SuSE

    Hi all:

I've downloaded the ultimate version of SuSE 10.2 (64-bit) and I'm experiencing the following:

I have WinXP and SuSE 10.2 in dual boot, but whenever I use Linux and then shut off the comp my optical mouse's LED stays on. On Windows it doesn't do that.

I've tried with previous versions of SuSE (10, 10.1) but it does the same d@mn sh!t.

    Any help would be appreciated.

If your mouse is a USB 2.0 mouse, or the USB port is 2.0... it's normal voor the mouse-light to stay on... I have the same on Linux aswel as Windows. It's nog a bad thing.

    OK, Thanks for the reply.

I do have a Logitech optical mouse connected through one of the USB ports behind my comp. I have Windows XP and SuSE in dual boot, but as I said before (in my previous post), when I use WinXP and shut down the comp "every thing" is off, but when I switch to Linux and shut down the comp, my mouse's LED stays on.

    Why is this happening?
I have a weird feeling that Linux is not shutting down my comp just as windows does.

My system specs (if in case you guys need it):
    AMD Athlon 64 3200+ (O'C to 2.5GHZ)
1GB of Kingston HyperX PC3500 (CAS 2-3-3-8; 1T command rate)
    2 optical drives
    MAXTOR 80GB HDD
Logitec internet keyboard and optical mouse.
    550W Enermax PSU (35Amps:12V // 35Amps:5V // 35Amps:3.3V)
