i have a problem in installing cable modem and getting my internet working. i am using cable internet provider with Hathway(India). previously i had FC5. i had no problem with FC5. but it is different with Opensuse. although i went to Yast->network configuration->network card. i tried filling in the details with the 'Ethernet' option, static IP, filling in the IP, Gateway details and DNS. but cudnt connect to the internet. i have Realtek 8139d card which is supported by OpenSuse 10.2. the problem still exists. can anyone help me?
