    Help a noob uninstall a sound driver...PLEASE

    Hey,

I'm running SUSE 10.2 and having a real hard time getting my DFI Infinity on-board sound to work, AC'97. I downloaded the latest driver from Realtek and ran the install. Now I can't boot to GNOME. Getting error about last login lasting 10 sec. I've gotten this error before after installing this drive (this is like the 4th time I've re-installed cause of this error)

But I can get to a terminal prompt. Can someone PLEASE tell me how to manually uninstall this driver???

    Much appreciated!!!

    Logon as root run yast

you will get an old Xwindow screen uninstall from there.
