    New ethernet not working in suse 10.1?

    Hear's the problem, I installed a new Ethernet card in my Suse.10.1 system today and now it wont connect to the internet at all. I know there is probably a simple answer but still finding my way in linux after using Windows for so long. Any help would be much appreciated Thanks.

    Hey Trapine,

    Configure ur ethernet card for accessing internet from here -> Administrator YAST -> Network Devices

    configure the IP, Subnet Mask, Gateway, also DNS server IP's ..

    thank's luckystrings That did the trick. Was missing my Suse 10.1 had to use windows vista for a day and it was painful lol.
