With the guide mentioned in nvidia download site I got the 8800 drivers installed. Now the problem is that even though judging from the framerate the drivers and 3D are working, I can't use Sax2 anymore. Whether I try to start it through Yast->Hardware->Display or in init 3 with sax2 -m 0=nvidia, my screen just goes blank and there's couple of beeps from my speaker, nothing happens and I'm forced to restart. This problem modifies itself between installs, so in one install I might get to the point where there's the screen that says 'these are the recommended settings' etc. no matter which button I press my comp just freezes.
Anyone have any idea why this happens and how to fix it so I can not only use my gfx card, but also conf my display?
