    SuSE 10.2 synaptics touchpad issues

    On my laptop (Compaq V5000Z), occasionally, the touch pad just freezes and then works again. This happens about once every 5 minutes and it gets very annoying.

    I am using the SuSE default kernel (2.6.18.2-34-default). Google hasn't given me any results yet, so I hope somebody can help, this is annoying. Thanks!
