    need plugins!

    I've just installed SUSE 10.2 , (I'm newbie on linux)
    The thing is that I can't see a dvd video 'cause I don't have the plugins, how can I get them??
    also, how does the system sources thing works? I don't understand what is the "install software tool" for, and from where it get the upgrades...

    please help!!!
