    help!!! I almost through my PC!!!

    I want to install two programs, and both of them are giving me same error all time!!!!!!!

    configure: error: no acceptable C compiler found in $PATH

    what is this?
    how can I fix it?
    I'm using SUSE 10.2

    have you even installed the GNU C Compiler via your software manager?

    Control Panel->YaST2 Modules->Software->Software Management search for GNU C Compiler

    hey

    I've already installed that C compiler as you say, but finally, the thing is that I don't have a clue of how to install any software that plays a DVD video, I read that Mplayer could work, and I installed, ( I think I did) but where is it???? how can I load whar I install????
    please I'm brand new in Linux! and I'm frustrated!
