Installing Suse 10.2 using only 3 of the cds

    HI

I am new to linux and my friend gave me 5 cds to install suse 10.2, however I have just installed it and its running fine, however I only used 3 of the 5 cds.

Have I installed it incorrectly or am I missing something because I havent used cd 4 and 5?

    Hope someone can help

    Thanks

    hi dc_jt !

    Welcome to the LinuxForums.

CD usage depends on the number of packages you have selected during installation. explore SuSe and check if you are missing anything. all neccesssary packages are already installed.
    check this link.

So everything I need is installed now, however if I want to install more features which I no doubt will, then I need to follow the link you gave me?

So what is actually on cd 4 and 5? And does this mean I wont have whats on them?

    Thanks

No. package installation is handled by YAST. it will ask for CD4 or 5 if you select the packages available in those CDs.

How do i actually install just them 2?
    look for YAST in Menu.
