    Connection Problem

Hi, I'm completely new to linux, I just loaded SUSE 10.2 onto my computer today (GNOME). The installation process went fine, everything was smooth. I got to my desktop and i have to say, it looks and feels great. Everything great, and then i wanted to connect to the internet. In the bottom right of my screen there is an icon that says wired network when i click on it. When I right click on it there is a "connection information"(or someting similar to it) when i click on it all of the numbers down to the subnet are there. It seems fine, but firefox cant seem to find any web pages. Any suggestions?

Which type of connection are you using? Have you configure you DNSs, gateway, IP? Are you using DHCP?
