I've installed 10.2, and the gnome graphical display seems to work fine. I did a default install of the Remote Administration.

The trouble is that when I try to connect from a remote machine using either VNC Viewer or the http:// applet, I get a gray screen with an X as a cursor. Nothing more. After a few minutes, it times out. For the http:// connection, the error message is "Network error: remote side closed connection". I get the same results from two different Windows client machines.

I can't tell whether Remote Adminstration uses Vino or TightVNC under the covers.

In any case, how do I get remote admin to work?
