    Configuration Hangs at the Printer

Trying to install 10.2 in the text mode and and while the system is going through the hardware configuration, it completes the monitor/graphics card and the shows "Printer" "Analyzing your system" and hangs. It has been analyzing for 10 hours. No printer attached to the computer.

    Any suggestions?

Perhaps it's actually hanging on your graphics. I've not tried the text install but I have had lockups when running yast2 (which is the text mode of yast).

Are you using text install because you have a problem running in graphic mode? If not, why not give it a try in graphic mode.

Yes I was using the text mode. The program would not install in the GUI mode. I had the program installed and had some very frustrating problems trying to get my WUSB54G to work, and installed some packages I could not get un-installed, so I decide to re-install the complete program. Never had this problem the first time?
