I believe there's a Non-OSS disc you can download and use as a YaST source. I've done that in the past. I can't for the life of me remember where I found it however.

::EDIT:: Found it. If you go to the actual FTP where you download the ISO files for the CD, you can download the Non-OSS disc as well. Here's a link to one of them:

techieMoe beat me to it with his edit.
I was going to suggest that you visit:

    http://opensuse-community.org/Package_Sources/10.2

There is no need to download to a CD. If you are using KDE, do remember to go into YaST > Software > Software Management > Filter > Patterns > Base Technologies and remove Enterprise Software Management to avoid conflicts (as is suggested on the above link).
Use a fast mirror site in your vicinity if you are not near to skynet.be.

    gogalthorp,
In a word, no. I was concerned about this myself initially but there is nothing to worry about. I use KDE and I was not receiving software updates prior to removing ESM. Now everything is fine.
Both software managements (openSUSE Software Management and Enterprise Software Management) are loaded in 10.2 for a reason.
The reason is that Gnome has no native updater applet which is capable of using the new zypper backend in contrast with the opensuse-updater for KDE which has.
With any luck 10.3 should have this situation remedied.
