Firefox 2.0 addons
I was able to upgrade to Firefox 2.0, but now I am trying to install some new themes and extentions, but when I try to install them, it loads, but will not take, I have no idea why this will not work.
Does anybody know how to get these addons to work with Firefox 2.0?
Please help...I am very new to Linux and trying to break the Windows mentallity.

it really shouldn't be any different then with windows as long as they have a version compatible with linux. Just make sure you restart firefox for the changes to take effect.
All right, brain. You don't like me and I don't like you, but let's just do this and I can get back to killing you with beer. All New Users Read This!!! If you have a grub problem please look at GRUB MANUAL

nope
but I do believe firefox will automatically check for compatible versions when you are in the "official" type addons on the mozilla site.
But that could be causing problems, but I don't think so ... because to the best of my knowledge firefox binaries are 32 bit but I don't really know. All right, brain. yes, I have a 64 bit system. No, it is not like in windows. in windows, you click install and it will do just that (one of the only nice features of windows) in linux, I click install and it goes to the installation tab and goes to 100%, but the addon never makes it to the selection where I can actually activate the extension/theme.
Just like when I upgraded Firefox from 1.5 to 2.0. In windows, you click install and it does it. In Linux, you have to download the tar file, and extract it in the folder where firefox 1.5 is and let it replace it (easy but not simple)

sorry...I'm not sure if I understand.
Firefox 2.0 is apparently not supported by Suse so I installed it the manual way.
Are you saying that I might have been able to install it from Yast?
If so, do you know how to put back version 1.5 so I can install it from Yast?
