    html to text help

First let me say the file I'm trying to read is unreadable(ie
    LZÄÖÃãè×Å@ˆ£”“@×äÂÓÉÃ@`aaæóÃaaÄãÄ) and so on.
These are readme files for the dst problem it's a .html file.
I was told to point that file at a browser and it could be read.
I don't have a browser on the server.
So how do I get the the files in a readable format??
    thanks
    Mace

You could check out html2text: http://www.mbayer.de/html2text/

Also, do a Google search for html2text for other options.
