sound only works after I open yast?
Okay, up until recently my sound will only work when I open the sound config under yast. after the config loads sound starts working?? (under kde). so basically I boot sound won't work then I open config and music starts playing (along with all other system sounds)

when u run "alsaconf" in terminal does it shows ur card properly

yes it dose. I think it started happening arround when i installed amarok.
