    Installing openoffice in suse 10.2

    I downloaded the kit, I obtained the rpm and then I use the commnand
    rpm -ivh *.rpm
    It seems that everything was ok, but I don't know WHERE is my openoffice now ! When I use the double click on the rpm, it try to install but I receive the message: "already installed". How can I find my installed oppenoffice 2.1 ? When I try to launch fom the icons, it start the oo 2.0, who is installed with the opensuse 10.2.

    You should have used yast to "upgrade" your office suit or atleast uninstalled openoffice 10.0 first. I believe that your install might have made it to /opt. If thats not the case check /usr/local/.


    Edit:- Please make that openoffice 2.0 instead of 10.0 (lol btw)

    install openoffice on suse 10.2

    I never heard befor about openoffice 10.0!!!,
    Try to open a terminal and type openoffice{version} do a tab if you don't know wich version.
