First of all I recommend you read the "Table of Equivalent Linux/Windows Programs" in this thread:
http://www.linuxforums.org/forum/lin...ead-first.html
Also know that WINE is not going to offer the same kind of performance as running software on MS Windows, and it may not work at all depending on what program you're trying to use.
For games, the best chance you'll have is with a non-free product called Cedega, however again it will not run games as well as MS Windows, it will cost you money ($15USD), and it may not work at all depending on your hardware and the games you want to play.
My advice to anyone wanting to play Microsoft Windows games is simply play them in MS Windows. You can set up your system to boot MS Windows and Linux relatively easily, and that allows you to play your games in the OS for which they were intended.Registered Linux user #270181

yeah thats just the problem, my version and all other versions of windows keep crashing on my pc... so the only thought i was having, was installing linux and this has been at this moment the most stable solution ever... so no windows is possible, only linux... so there is not really a good solution?

Are you getting NDIS error statement-fear not-known windows prob-can fix-caused by processor speed too fast (>2.1GHz) on old win9x systems. Get new version of ndis.vxd, gear81sd.dll and mfc42.dll & install all 3 into windows/system/*.* perfect cure!! Can send u files if you need them.
