Running shell Scripts on SUSI Linux DESK TOP

Hi All,

Can we use SUSI Linux DESK TOP for creating and running scripts like on the regular linux OS. When I type functions to list the functions it says commnad not found.

Can you give more info on what exactly your trying to do. You post is confussing.

Just from what you said you might check permissions.

I wanted to list the functions defined on Susi Linux Desktop. and typed Funtions at the command prompt as ROOT and it says command not found. My question is can this Desk top version be used to develope awk sed scripts to do data manupulation.
