When I insert a blank DVD, it mounts automatically. I have tried using Krusader to copy a file to the disk, and get the error: "could not write to file /media/UDF MX120/opensuse102.zip". I have also attempted to copy files manually with the cp command in Konsole. Got no error, but also did not copy.

I have tried with Maxell DVD-RAM and Panasonic DVD-RAM. I have used both sucessfully with this drive on this computer with windows XP. I have no problem mounting and reading from a DVDRam created earlier.

The drive is a Sony DRX-820U. I have tried this with a laptop running SuSE 10.2 and a tower running SuSE 10.0 with the same results.

Also, have had no problem writing to CD-RW disks with this same setup. And they are readable in other devices.
