I have just set up SUSE 9.1 on a laptop. I find that I can ping sites e.g. www.bbc.co.uk - but in mozilla I cannot browse to www.bbc.co.uk. I can browse to 212.58.224.116 (the IP found by the ping)

I found this link http://www.dizwell.com/prod/node/41 for SUSE 10.1 and tried to no avail.

alias ipv6 off

a friend suggested it might be an issue with mygatewat.ar7 which seems to appear instead of the expected 192.168.1.1 in the routing table against "default".

Any help welcome .......
