    MD5 CheckSum Problem !! OMG :(

Hi , When i press next after the partitioning process a pop-up message says that somthing is missing or invailed ! a package or somthing like that , the cd refuses to eject !!

so i have to abort and start again !! , well i did a check CD1 so there might be a problem , it stopped checking @ 47% and said that md5checksum is invailed or somthing like that .

Well i read the pinned tobic about that problem , made the check on the downloaded files ( 5 Torrent CDS ) , the result =

    1F32FEC421E357600EFBD6C531C1758A >FastSum

    -------------------------------

As u can see , the result in CAPS , while the source in lowercase , so would that make any diffrent ? .

I tried to check the burned CD , but it always fail , seems like a file.rpm is unaccesable .

    So any help ?

I've never paid any attention to whether md5checksum was upper or lower case but I'd venture to guess it makes no difference.

The issue might be with your cd drive geometry. That used to be pretty common problem though rare on newer cd/dvd drives.

Why don't you just download CD1 again and see if it works.
