Internet Problem in Suse 10.1(remastered)

I am using KDE.i have set my internet proxy throught K Menu>Psersonal Settings>Internet & Networking > Proxy. There i set proxy manually every thing is working fine(eg:- Kget & the internet browser ) expect when ever i tried to set my repositories using yast or smart or any other, i think It does not connect to internet and i have tried to import the key from any site it gives the error also my online updates is not working. Proxy is working fine.

the above site opens in my web browser while it does not import the key in the console . Furthure more i have tried to ping any web page it shows

I think Suse firewall is blocking it or there is onternet problem in Suse. if there is any please help.

In the case of Smart Package Manager, if one is using a Proxy, then one has to modify part of Smart's configuration.

You can get pointed in the right direction by using the Google Search Engine. By tying "Smart Package Manager proxy" I obtained a web page hit, which pointed me to this wiki.

Look under smart config, network options, and that should continue to point you in the right direction. I don't use a Proxy, so you will need work out the final details yourself.

and What about online updates it's also not working. I have searched on internet but i did not find any solution and yast repositories did not set due to same reason.

I have fixed my avi file problem its now running fine and other formats are working well. i have installed my xine lib. i have downloaded xine-lib-1.1.4.tar.bz2 & xine-ui-0.99.4.tar.gz from this web site http://xinehq.de/index.php/releases and installed them now video files are working fine.
