    Hi,
    in order to make USB ports work, I must set boot-option "acpi=off", but using "acpi=off" the system will not recognize the WLAN card.
    I use Fujitsu Siemens Amilo laptop.
    Thanks for any advice, I am a complete beginner in this field.

    Same thing happens with me when I tried PCLinuxOS 2007 on my Amilo L7310GW. I got quite excited when wireless finally worked but as you say it is either wireless or USB and of course we need both.

    I am still trying to resolve but to no avail to date.
