ogg problem
I have installed recordmydesktop and am using it to take desktop videos. The program works fine. However, I can't work out how to convert the .ogg files to .mpg or .avi. Does anyone know how to do this?

I not sure about the video but I know K3B with convert .ogg to .mp3 with out problem, you might give it a try.

xvidenc, h264enc, tovid - try these
A couple good programs for doing conversions to avi are:
