    Fresh Install 10.1

I liked SuSE from an earlier version I had (9.3), after using Fedora 5 for a year,
I installed 10.1 due to a Window Dual-Boot crash. I'd like anoth email client
but YAST doesn't respond. I click on either Online Update or Add-on
Product and all I see in the status line is "starting module......"
Should I reinstall at this point?

10.1 had a lot of problems with its package management. You have two routes you can choose
    • Use SMART package manager, it is fast, simple and more powerful
    • Install SUSE 10.2 - the package manager is fixed and you will have more up to date software
