    instaling firefox 2

    I've been trying to install firefox using a rpm but everytime i try i keep getting this depency message Resolvable id 307054 does not exist.

    what does it mean?

    I am an absolute beginner when it comes to linux

    Can you please post the detailed error messages and the exact name of the file you are trying to install. Are you using the rpms from here?

    http://en.opensuse.org/Additional_Ya...e_Repositories

    Go to this page, add the packman source to your Yast2-> Installation Source
    and then you can install it from there automatically and all dependencies will
    be automatically resolved by the source

    Now it comes up with

    Unresolved dependencies:
    Installing MozillaFirefox-2.0.0.2-6.1.i586[Local packages]
    There are no installable providers of mozilla-nss >= 3.11.5 for MozillaFirefox-2.0.0.2-6.1.i586[Local packages]


    What does it mean ?

    You have to download and install the latest version of mozilla-nss and mozilla-nspr from the link in my post above before installing firefox.
