i have installed SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 9.x on an older machine and it works just fine until after i used the online update. at which point when it boots in stops after loading the sound driver. it wont go on and boot any further. i have also tried booting into "failsafe" mode and it does the same thing. what can i do? what other pieces of information can i give you to help you diagnose the problem? *this is after reformating and reinstalling SLES9*
