    Several problems

    1) After i installed ati driver and done aticonfig --initial it added his sections to xorg.conf file. And Everything was normal... until recently, when i booted computer and saw that i've got 640x480 resolution. Then i configured xorg.conf myself using useful command xmode(it goes like this: xmode -r 75 -x 1280 -y 1024 -this is for 1280x1024 with 75HZ refresh rate) and after i inserted generated by xmode line to xorg.conf and restarted x i've got 73 HZ instead of 75. And far more intresting that OS thinks that i have 72 Hz(when i right click on desktop->configure menu).
Now I use -r 77 and get 75 Hz but monitor thinks that it's nonpreset mode

    2) I configured my sound card using alsaconfig and everything is just fine
BUT everytime i reboot my settings go back to unconfigured state.
    Anything useful appreciated

Ok, another questions will be posted here.
    3) Why do some people think that apt is better than yast? Should I try it?
    4) Yast works really slow when adding new sources. Why?
