    Cannot update Compiz

    Noone helped me so i re-post my problem:

    Compiz (Update Version: 0.3.7-12.5 Installed Version: 0.2.2-18.2)

    When trying to update through Yast i get this message:
    Updating compiz-0.2.2-18.2.i586[System packages] to compiz-0.3.7-12.5.i586[20070228-185702]
    There are no installable providers of /usr/bin/gconftool-2 for compiz-0.3.7-12.5.i586[20070228-185702]

    i updated Gconf2 which provides the usr/lib/gconftool-2 but when i browse that directory its impossible to find it even after installing Gconf2 (2.16 instead of 2.14 that i had before)!

    Any ideas? I cant find anything online unfortunately..

    I found solution to my problem myself

    it seems like i cant find what to do to update to compiz 3.7, but i can update from the CYBORG repository to 3.6 with no trouble at all..its almost the same thing so its fine by me!

    anyone else who wants to upgrade u can find the repository on www.go-compiz.org or google it!

    from the 2.2 version where all the settings are in Start->Applications->Utilities->Desktop->Personal Settings
    in 3.6 version its at the same place but its called GL Desktop!
