    Program Installation

    I cant seem to get any program i donwload to install, ive downloaded some games for x86 suse 10.1 and when i click them it opens up like a read me file and just has a bunch of codes etc.. if i d/l a zip file i cant do anything either im not sure what im doing wrong .. i download everything to the /documents folder.. and it will be .zip or . rpm or .run im running suse 10.1 with kde desktop what am i doing wrong.. nothing will install..

    In Linux, most packages won't install by simply clicking on them. Take a look at this article which may help you with Linux package management.
