    Grub Loader on suse 10.1

    harlo,cud u guyz help me on this thx .I m running a dual boot on my com which consists of SUSE linux 10.1 and window xp...but suddenly when i try to start my computer the grub refuse to load and comes out with a message ERROR 17,cud u guyz help me to solve this problem...thx..

    Have you tried to reinstall GRUB??

    Boot from your linux disks and login as root. Go to Konsole and type in
    grub-install (hd0)

    I'm assuming that your only using one Hard Drive though

    Put the install cd in then boot. Choose boot from disk. This by passes grub.

    If this does not work reinstall something is seriously wrong.

    Using your SUSE install disk you can do a Repair which is one of the options. You may want to give that a try first.
