    Hi all! sorry for the dumb question but how do I get rid of that bouncing ball at the curser. Also in general how to tweak suse to make the bootup a little quicker?

    which Desktop Environment are you using? GNOME or KDE?

    Control Center ( OR press Alt+F2 and type 'kcontrol' ) -- Appearance & Themes --> Launch Feedback. set Busy Cursor and Taskbar Notification time to 2 or 3 secs.
