Kinternet SuSE 10.1 PROBLEM, PLEASE HELP!!!

    Hey there!
I used to use the SuSE 10.0 to connect to internet, but now i'm using 10.1
The problem i'm having is that i cannot connect to internet with kinternet anymore. I've configured the network with DSL connection, inserted the username and pass, but no luck.
I'm using a broadband through LAN that requires logging in.
The message i get is (log):
"SuSE Meta pppd (smpppd-ifcfg), Version 1.59 on linux-b5co
    Status is: disconnected
    trying to connect to smpppd
    connect to smpppd
    Status is: disconnected
error: cannot read real interface for eth0-id-00:00:00:20:66:70"
This is the whole message i get in the LOG. The thing is that i've also found a second ethernet named eth1, the same network device.

Can u give me a hand?

I wanna connect the laptop to the internet but it seem that i won't have it without ur help!
    Thanks a lot!

    Alex

    Smile as root...

haven't tried as root. i'll give it a try, but i don't think that would help. when i used the 10.0 it worked as an ordinary user, now it doesn't...
    Thanks!
