Hello everyone, I'm kind of a newbie with hardware config on linux.
I'm running Open SuSE 10.2 and I'm having trouble with my Creative soundcard. Each sound that I play, keeps running forever even dough the player is stopped (for example, a bell sound once it runs it won't stop). I think this may be some kind of driver trouble and maybe this is caused by some buffer settings, but I don't know, if someone could help would be great.

My current config is:
OS:Open SuSE 10.2 (only OS installed)
MB: Asus P3V4X
Processor :Pentium 3 (800 Mhz)
RAM 512MB
Video: Voodoo 5500
Sound: Creative Sound Blaster Live! X-Gamer (4 chanel version)
Sound System: Open Sound System
GUI: KDE
