    USB Mouse problem

    Hello,

For a couple of weeks I have some strange problem with external USB mouse on my laptop : Sometimes (~once per hour) the mouse suddenly freezes and either doesn't work at all or only its right button works ("menu"). It is necessary to unplug the mouse and re-insert it again to resume working.
At the same time internal mouse ("trackpoint") works normally.

As a rule this happens in Fullscreen mode of different programs (Firefox, Acrobat Reader, KGhostView[postscript viewer], Gwenview[Image viewer])

I tried to dmesg and to look through logfiles, but there is no any clues what is wrong

What might be the reason ???

    Thanks in advance,
    Xaleandr
PS: External Mouse: Cherry M-5000 USB
    Software: SuSe 10.1

I have a wirless Logitech that also freezes there are two small buttons on the bottom that allow me to reset it. What brand model of mouse?? This also happens sometimes in Windoz. The mouse is connected via KVM switch.
