Can someone help me with this linux pimping mission lol

System Config:
SuSE 10.2 OSS x86_64
AMD Opteron 144 Processor
nVidia 6600gt 128M PCI-Ex
installed nVidia drivers and beryl through YaST
first installed moodin in YaST, then manually downloaded it from kde-look and ./configure make make installed

Beryl wasn't working properly from the beginning, there's no springy window, transparent cube, or 3D window spacing during cube view.

Anyway I tried to install the fingerprint theme from kde-look, the log in screen is fine, but splash screen would appear for a second, then go blank showing only the hand, and the hand don't even animate, then goes blank again then KDE loads.

Here's a screen shot with moodinKDE splash screen, it also didn't work. The background is gone and icons dont animate.

UPDATE:
I restarted the computer instead of Ctrl+Alt+Backspace, the splash screen would work now ;P

UPDATE 2:
the moodinKDE worked but not fingerprint splash screen, it would show up, go black, show up blank with the finger, black, then KDE starts
