    dependancy conflict

I've been dl'ing dependancies for an hour so far and i am stopped at a conflict..

    glibc < 2.5.90 conflicts with glibc-common-2.5.90-17.i386

Any idea's?? Is there a quicker way around dl'ing a million different dependancies either??

I've been going back and back and back and feel like i'm accomplishing nothing. All i want is to enable plug-ins for mozilla...is there a browser that doesn't require the 11 depandancies i've prob DL'd so far??? The files i've been dl'ing are:

    nss & devel
    nscr & devel
    glibc 4 diff versions

anyways, i'm gonna try and uninstall the conflicting packet. If i'm doing that wrong please let me know guys, thanks.

I'm trying to DL a plug-in for mozilla to allow video to been seen under mpeg(-2) format, unless i'm installing these all wrong, i keep having to back further and further for these .rpm's. Is there a way to update all these automatically?...prob not. I took a break on the vid for now...I'll start up again in a day or so. Btw, what does the command sh mean in terminal? I use it quite a bit when instructed on installing a product.
