    USb not even recognized

    I used to use Mepis. When I plugged in my USB memory stick or USB Seagate Hard drive, they mounted right up.

    I installed Opensuse 10.2. When I plug in either one, I get nothing. Nothing in kdiskfree, no icons nothing. I have checked "show device icons" but they are not recognized at all. Any suggestions?

    Problem fixed. Updated to latest kernal and now everything mounts fine.
