    Talking Multi-question

Ok , Old CPU and Gogalthorp , were so helpful in getting my video and audio working ,I decided to start a new thread ( no highjacking this time, sorry ,newb) , and make it a multi-question . I have Kopete up and running, I can get my buddy list up, but I see no chat rooms, how, or can I get to the Yahoo chat rooms, can I and how do I install Yahoo on Suse 10.2, how do I get Kmail to receive and send my mail from Yahoo, ( I thought I had the correct server, maybe not) , how do I play games on msn games, in Suse (it says I need flash, I try to install, it opens a tab with real player I've never seen before, I hate real player) and last but not least, how do I uninstall real player, ( or anything else) ? I already know that with a little effort on my part, providing information to the geniuses that rule these forums, all my questions will be answered. So in advance I'd like to say , Thanx

Oh Yeah, one last thing, I get all the above done, I'd probably use Suse as my primary OS and Win gets 2nd place. Which means Suse gets the raid drive and Win gets the IDE. How do I go about doing that, I only ask, because when I installed this copy, the raid drives weren't even visible to install to, or was visible but read 250 . I have 2x250. Did it "see" it that way because of the Raid 1 striping ? Thats All. I Promise.
    Thanx Again

    Update

I have discovered GYachE , Provided I can get it up and running, (any help with that would be appreciated) and that solves the chat room problem. However, I would still like to be able to check my Yahoo mail through Kmail.

    Update 2

I read up a little, and it was suggested to avoid msn and go to popgames directly. I tried that, the new window opened for the game, but it never materialized, Soo close, SO far away.

For what it's worth, it makes things a lot easier for us when you post separate threads, one per question. Lumping all your questions into one great big run-on paragraph makes it hard for those of us who may know one of the answers to discern what we want to help you with.

Out of all you've said so far I got one thing I could probably help you with: uninstalling programs in SuSE. This depends entirely on how you installed the programs to begin with. If you installed them using the YaST, you can use YaST to uninstall them as well. It's pretty much the same procedure: search for the program, check the box a few times until the check turns into a trash can, and hit Apply.

If you installed the rpms manually, you'll need to uninstall them manually as well:

    Code:
    rpm -e nameofpackage
Note that the installed package isn't necessarily the same name as the RPM you installed. To determine what packages are installed on your system, I believe you use the -q option:

    Code:
    rpm -q
