    Suse 10.2 - Wireless Not Working

    Hi,
    I am new to linux. Installed Suse 10.2 on my acer 5102 wlmi laptop....wired eth is workin....the wireless is not working. i do have a knetwork manager on my taskbar but it does not show any networks.....also when i type iwconfig or ifconfig in my terminal, "command not found" is the response.....any one has any idea on it??? please help me out....

    those two commands have to be entered as root. First enter su and give the password. Then you can do iwconfig and ifconfig. Acer might respond to ndiswrapper. The HowTo for Suse 10.2 is found here

    It looks hard but it's not if you follow carefully stepwise

    PS post the results of iwconfig & ifconfig if you wish, before trying ndiswrapper.
