I was just wondering if SuSE 10.2 has anything like sytem restore? I can reinstall SuSE and then reload my add ons and repo's, but is there a way to save all that and just do a restore?
I have a 250 gig HDD, of which I am only using half. I would like to be able to use the other half for a restore drive. If I screw something up again, I could just copy the image to the main partition.

try PartImage. create an image of working System in separate partition and if anything goes wrong, restore save image.
It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
