Root device not found on boot
This is the error message I get
resume device /dev/sdc1 not found (ignoring)
Waiting for device /dev/sdc2 to appear .............. not found -- exiting to /bin/sh
Now I've reinstalled Suse 4 times , does at least 3 repairs. Wrote all Zeros to the hard drives incase it was a MBR or some hardware problem. I am running 4 drives on RAID 10 w/ hardware. The RAID bios sees the drives , the installer sees the drives. I've done everything I can think of and still get this error. I all started when I did an update and the kernel was updating but I have no idea how that could be affecting a fresh install on empty hard drives.
Any ideas? Please help
Thanks
